Author, editor, curator. Founder of HEY! modern art & pop culture Anne Richard has been working in the art world under three pseudonyms (Anne & Julien, Anne de HEY!, Rosita Warlock) since 1986. Her knowledge of pop subcultures, as well as a solid involvement in alternative arts, have made her a key player in the cultural landscape, thanks to her national and international achievements. In 2010, she co-founded the multidisciplinary structure HEY! modern art & pop culture, which she has directed ever since. She curated the exhibition "Tatoueurs, Tatoués" (musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac). Inaugurated in Paris in 2014, it is currently on an international tour until 2026. She participates in the production of contemporary works by tattoo artists, produced by the MQB for its permanent collections. Anne Richard is a member of the Jury for the Société du Grand Paris (selection of artists and monitoring of public commissions). In addition to her activities as an author, Anne Richard has edited over forty art books, some of which have been translated into English, Spanish, Chinese and Russian. Her unusual curatorial work has led her to work with the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac (Paris), the musée de La Halle Saint Pierre (Paris), The Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto), The Field Museum (Chicago), The Natural History Museum (Los Angeles), The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (Taiwan), The Pushkin Museum (Moscow), La Caxia Foundation (6 cities in Spain), the Berlusconi Foundation (France) and the Fondation de la Ville (France). For 10 years, Anne Richard was also involved in live performance, on stage with the 78 RPM Selector and the HEY! La Cie she co-founded, acting as writer, director and performer.
