HEY! 4 Degrees ART

October 2016

4 Degrees ART is an exclusive point of contact between contemporary figurative art and tomorrow’s citizen envi- ronmentalism. 4 Degrees ART gives the floor to 102 artists (from 20 countries) including some world’s stars of the “other pop culture” (pop surrealism, visionary art, street art, outsider pop). Standing with the art magazine HEY! modern art & pop culture, they engage for the earth’s rights. As artists, citizens of the earth and civil society stakeholders, they answered eleven questions based on the proposals of the Earth Charter. Some wrote original texts or longs comments. Others decided to create new works for the book, or have spe- cifically handed over pieces never published before. All speeches and works united here develop new and contrasted thoughts, facing the scale of the current environmental issues.
